What's a shiny sandwich?
A shiny sandwich gives you three powers for ONE type, all at Lv. 3:
- Sparkling PowerBetter shiny odds for that type
- Encounter PowerMore of that type show up around you
- Title PowerMore Pokémon with marks & titles

We worked out every recipe below from the game's own ingredient values, and double-checked the math against hundreds of real sandwiches made in the game, so you know they work ♡
Which two Herba to use

One Salty Herba, plus a second one that's Salty, Sweet, Sour or Spicy. That's it! Every recipe on this page works with any of those combos.
Just not Salty + Bitter for these recipes. That combo turns your
third power into Exp. Point Power instead of Encounter Power.

Your sandwich is just ONE of three shiny boosts, and they all stack! Here's how to get the best odds you can for a wild shiny ♡
Your shiny sandwich! Make it match the type of the Pokémon you're hunting.
Finish your Paldea Pokédex and talk to Jacq in the academy's biology lab. It works just by being in your bag!
Clear at least 60 of the outbreak Pokémon by battling them or using Let's Go. Clearing 30 gives you a smaller boost.
- Match the types. Sparkling Power only boosts the type on your sandwich, so make it for the outbreak Pokémon's type.
- Watch the clock. The sandwich lasts half an hour, so clear the outbreak first, then make your sandwich right there.
- Refresh the spawns. No shiny yet? Start a picnic and pack it up to make the Pokémon around you spawn again.
- Raids don't count. None of these boost Tera Raids. That's what our stream is for ♡
