The catch

It's the money.

Everyone talks about Ability Patches for Hidden Abilities, and sure, that's lovely. But the real reason to want them is that they sell for 125,000 each, and there is almost nothing else in the game you can say that about.

Five of them is 625,000. From ONE raid. Sell them at any shop counter and go buy whatever you want, then come back and do it again 💰

And if you'd rather keep them, a Patch is the only thing that gives a Pokemon its Hidden Ability. An Ability Capsule only flips between the two normal ones, so no amount of Capsules will ever get you Drizzle on a Politoed. It has to be a Patch ♡

As a random reward they're BRUTAL, rarer than Herba Mystica and one at a time. This raid doesn't roll for it. It pays five, every single time, to everybody in the lobby.

Beating it

It's a one shot.

This is not one of the mean ones. There's no setup, no turn order to memorise and no special build to go and breed first. Bring an attacker, hit it once, it's over.

So genuinely, anyone can join this. If you've got something that hits hard you already have everything you need ♡

What do I need to bring?

An attacker. That's the whole list! It goes down in one hit, so whatever you've been using is almost certainly fine. No guide to read first, no items to farm, no build to copy.

Wait, doesn't Ditto copy me?

It knows one move and that move is Transform, so yes, it turns into a copy of your lead. Doesn't matter here though, because the raid's over before that goes anywhere ✨

How do I get in?

It's a coded raid, so you need the Link Code. That's on screen inside the game window whenever the lobby is open, and the raid name and rewards sit underneath each screen. Come watch and hop in when you see it ✨

Does it cost anything?

Nope! It's free, you keep everything you win, and you don't owe me a thing. You will need Nintendo Switch Online to join, same as any online raid. You do not need the DLC.
